Returning or Exchanging Items

Tool Works wants you to be happy with your purchase, that’s why we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee allowing you to return or exchange new items within 30 days of purchase and reconditioned items within 30 days of purchase.

On used Tools we give a 30 day warranty and only repair the tool customer pays return shipping. Please make sure you leave our security stickers in place or it will void the warranty.

On batteries we offer a 90 day warranty. we do not warranty if they got wet ,overcharged, dropped or miss used in any way. Customer pays return shipping. Please make sure you leave our security stickers in place or it will void the warranty.

To return an item, just follow these easy steps:

Step #1: Call us at 1-207-744-0900 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

Step #2: Place a copy of your packing slip in the box and write your RMA number on the invoice.

Yes, to process your return properly, we need to have the complete item returned. For example, if your cordless drill driver’s battery is not charging we’ll need the drill driver, charger, battery, and case returned.

My tool arrived with a missing part, can you get that for me?

How are refunds issued?

Refunds are issued via the method of original payment excluding wire transfers. Returns are processed within 48 hours of receipt in our building.

I paid for additional materials and installation costs for the item I purchased from Tool Works, will that money be refunded?

Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse customers for any costs associated with installations, additional materials, etc., when an item is returned or exchanged.
